No cookies, and nothing that follows you around the web. Visits are counted. Five things touch your data, all described below.
The chat widget sends what you type, along with the recent messages in that conversation, to my server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API and returns the answer. Google does receive it, and under the terms of the free tier they may use it to improve their products and their reviewers may read it.
I am also sent a copy. When you stop typing for two minutes, or close the page, the conversation is emailed to me and then deleted from the server. I read these to learn what people actually want to know, which tells me what to write about and what to explain better. The widget says all of this before you type anything.
The conversation carries no name, no email address and no identifier that means anything on its own, so unless you say who you are, I do not know. It then sits in my inbox like any other email, for as long as it is useful.
Do not put anything confidential into it. If a subject is sensitive, email or message me directly instead, or book a call.
Cloudflare count page views for me. No cookies, nothing stored on your device, no way to recognise you later or elsewhere. I see which pages were opened, roughly where from, and how fast they loaded.
So the assistant cannot be run up into a large bill, my server counts how many messages come from each visitor. That counter is stored against your IP address, which Cloudflare supplies with the request, and it expires by itself after 48 hours. It holds a number and nothing else: no messages, no identity, no history. It is used only to decide whether to answer the next request.
The form on the front page does not submit anywhere. It assembles what you typed into an email and opens your own mail program with it ready to send. Nothing is transmitted to me, or stored, unless you press send in your own mail program. If you would rather not use it, the email address and WhatsApp number are on the page in plain sight.
When you get in touch, through the form, by email, on WhatsApp or by booking a call, I keep what you send me. That means your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote. I keep it so I can carry on the conversation and so I have a record of who I have spoken to.
I do not sell it. I do not share it with anyone. I do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
I keep it until you tell me not to. Ask me to delete everything I hold about you and I will delete it and confirm when it is gone. That includes any chat transcript, though if you never said who you were in it, I will need something to go on to find it.
You do not need to give a reason, and it will not be held against you.
Anything you do on those services is covered by their own terms, not mine. Fonts and images on this site are served from this site, so simply reading the page contacts nobody but Cloudflare.
If you are in the EU, the UK or Israel you can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to leelaster@gmail.com and I will answer. That includes the right to be forgotten: say the word and everything I hold about you goes.
If this changes, the date below changes with it. There is no version history and no notification, so check here if it matters to you.
